why do you need my credit card? annoying!

The best restaurants in NYC. Gets you in like a boss. Paying is good (I use it sometimes other times I pay like normal with a CC at the restaurant).

Love the restaurants this app has! Use it when I travel and know I can trust the places they have picked.

Best way to not have to deal with pulling out you credit card at the end of the meal. So much better.

The app itself is fine, but at the end of the day, humans are between you and the restaurant and thats Reserves downfall. Response times are arduous and they fail to deliver on simple tasks like contacting the restaurant with changes (with substantial notice). Better off using Open Table for 80% of my bookings and a good old fashioned phone call for the rest.

The concierge idea is a mess. Our concierge dropped the ball with our reservation, and never got in touch with me on the day reservations became available (and I stayed on top of it). We managed to make a reservation for the day after wed planned, but it was for the wrong amount of people. When I tried to contact support via text no one responded. You have to pay your bill with this app too which is ridiculous because I was having 11 people out for my birthday, so now I (the birthday boy) have to take a $700 charge on my credit card if my friends dont want to download this piece of garbage app and opt into splitting the bill with me. 10 Venmos later and Im even. This is the only way our restaurant was taking reservations and its a shame because its an infuriating experience. In the future I will skip restaurants that use Reserve. I would like to book my table with a human being, maybe Im some kind of monster I dont know.

Love this app--makes getting a reservations super easy. No more calling around, searching on OpenTable, etc... Your concierge in the app takes care of all the details and gets you a reservation somewhere great. Huge time saver!
